[This is pregame time] The fall is beautiful this year, at least for now. Early morning drizzle is all that you can get in terms of precipitation as the monsoon has turned and is now departing toward the sea. Strong eastward winds have yet to pick up though, with the Explorers waiting for them to do. Each day is sunny, making the brightly coloured foliage even more spectacular to look on. Ikebana artists rejoice. Momiji viewers can be routinely spotted all along the Promenade. It is when Lady Amaterasu sets when most realise that the summer is over. Still, local businesses thrive as the evening chill often leads the city denizens to seek hot meals and good beverage.
