The weather on the island is repetitively predictable: sunny, warm toward hot and quite humid throughout the day, with breezes and winds coming down from Mount Kappa regulating it in favour of bearability. Bearability is less guaranteed inland, especially in the jungles. Usually there is a light drizzle around midday, but unless there is a storm clouds almost never cover most of the skies. But this is also the day of full moon... However, a great storm passed two days ago. There's been some damage to the settlements. Many trees were felled and now block inland passages, particularly in the southern part of the island where the storm hit more severely, but the cleanup is proceeding and Genta's Mill has a lot of work. In the morning the Imperial Admiral releases a general order for the Imperial Explorers to make a landfall and seek long-term accommodations on the island, then report their claimed spots and findings to the Quartermaster. He takes Amaterasu's Grace on a quick trip to the East Port and back, allowing for quick transfer for all those who desire to switch ports for the day. By late morning the vessel is back in Kasuga's Bay. As per permission of the Governess granted last evening, one ship at a time can leave the West Port. Similar arrangements are yet to be made with authorities of the East Port. --- Tension! -1.4 (Wariness). The denizens of Kameyama Jima are very cautious toward the Explorers despite initial platitudes. They reserve judgement, but do not exclude that the newcomers have ulterior and nefarious intentions and it can all turn ugly still.
