This large house on an otherwise average-sized estate is a place where Muhaki Aiteru, the chief broker of the West Port, both lives and receives guests and business partners. A sentimental affair to a great extent, this is the most Rokugani-looking place in the area, with almost every traditional element of a small estate recreated, a small fish pond in the surrounding garden included. The interior, which consists of a tea house and a guest house spaces alongside Aiteru's offices and private quarters, exudes the feel of the old homeland in an idealised manner.
Aiteru himself is a relatively unremarkable man whose distinguishing feature are that he wears traditional Rokugani garments, shaves his forehead and sports a topknot. He makes an effort to avoid foreign influences to make a mark on any aspect of his livelihood, spoken languages included, at least here. In matters of business, however, he's a rather universal middleman, and whatever storage or transport arrangements one can make in the West Port, or whatever services one seeks, he is capable of providing, usually not for the lowest of prices. There are rumours this includes unsavoury goods and services but he does not advertise those himself. What he primarily offers here to an individual Rokugani client is a taste of home.
