This building is everything that can be said about initial Tortoise urban design in the West Port, ramshackle houses to provide a temporary shelter from the elements, built without taste or much forethought, with improvised materials. It may have served other purposes in the past, but these days the partially dilapidated building holds an establishment that aspires to be an inn or even a tea house (one cannot truly tell), with food, shelter, carnal pleasure and unrefined entertainment. It's name is a publicity stunt that fools no-one and amuses many with it's irony for it can only refer to either garishly artificial grins of encouragement coming from the prostitutes or to the drunken chortles and bellowing of patrons losing it. The good news is: everything is affordable here (like in: crazy cheap)! Even if you don't have the money, you can work it off this way or another, though dignity may not remain unscathed in the process. But then, would you come here if you had any?
