Oink-chan was a bit restless in Haruka's grasp, rocking and sniffing around, but ended with nuzzling at her cheek because it looked nice to the little piglet for some reason.

"I think he might be stuck out in the water, Shosuro-san." Haruka pointed out with some concern. With little thought to the safety of her own skin given the bright tropical sunlight, Haruka - slowly - made her way over to Oink-chan to see if the porker was truly in peril and, if so, to rescue Oink-chan from the cruel sea. |

Anzai wouldn't allow Haruka to go out alone. Following her, he rolled up his kimono sleeves, ready to assist Oink-chan, or Doji-sama. "Hopefully his mother isn't nearby..." He didn't know how the creatures would react. |

"If she is, why then is she not here?" Haruka asked, assuming that pigs have all the same instincts and thought processes as people, as she began wading in to the shallow surf to retrieve Oink-chan. "Calm yourself, Oink-chan. I won't hurt you..." |

Oink-chan turned toward Haruka eagerly as she looked like a decent support for its tired hooves. It had been brave, foolhardy event, in swimming this long and this far, but it was still in haze after the storm and it would otherwise not dared. "Oink!" The porcinnest of sounds rolled out of the small snout forced above water. |

"Aww. Come here. No sense being lost to the uncaring sea like Shosuro-san and I almost were." Haruka gently spoke to the piglet before scooping it up and starting to wade to shore. "Ouch. Oink-chan seems to be very bristle-y." She remarked to Anzai. |

"Well, Oink-chan sure looks grateful to be rescued, Doji-sama." He smiled as he waded out after her. He wouldn't comment on how her tenderness to the creature made her look more attractive. "Coarse hair may help with how it survives here. We would have to ask someone skilled with creatures for certain, though." |

"We'll make it a point to do so when we're rescued." Haruka agreed with Anzai's words optimistically as Oink-Chan's affectionate presence was doing much for her morale. "Here, I'll put you down because your hairs are poking me and you look well enough to walk. Don't go wandering off back into the ocean." Haruka chided the new member of the group as she set Oink-chan down, subtly allowing it to choose its own fate of accompanying the samurai or going back to the other pigs. |

Oink-chan shook the water off then started to trot around Haruka, grunting as it cast the sand apart in search for something to munch. |
