Wata had worked previously for the previous headmistress of the Moshi Wharf, or at least done as much as he had could to help her out. Now that he was again in town, the ronin went back to the office of the new Headmister to present himself and congratulate him in the job position, wishing him the best.

He would not have been let in if not for his extreme politeness that shamed those guardians and clerks who wanted to shoo him away. The man behind the desk did not look up, making a point that he was being interrupted doing something important. Still, he showed no sign of irritation, looking peaceful.

"I've been told it cannot wait. Can't it truly?"

The office was familiar; at some point Watatsumi had worked in the room adjacent to it.

[NPCs are not a go yet. I just stamped it with the pic I needed anyway.]

Wata looked to the side room, he had known it well, he had worked there long hours, taking the business of Moshi-sama in great consideration. Maybe he had been the help that she needed for her rise? Would she had risen had he not helped her in the work? Only the Fortunes would know.

The ronin bowed to the ground, his full body against the wooden door, remembering his place in the social order after his disgraceful fall.

"I am extremely sorry for my bothering of such important one" he stated as he politely excused his intrusion. "I wish not to bother such graced one such as yourself, Moshi Zenshiro-sama. I am just a humble servant that had the luck to work under the magnificent Moshi Noriko. I have just come to bring you my most humble greetings and best wishes in this new position that has been bestowed upon you. If Moshi Zenshiro-sama ever had the need of this one while he is in Dragon's Guard City, I would hope to be called to serve when your two most able hands are not sufficient to handle such high work load."

Zenshiro sighed, closing his eyes.

"It's not sound to suggest I may not be getting my job done well enough, and I don't like flowery talk too much. But since I know you only for your mistakes rather than fortes, past and present, I will give you some benefit of a doubt and listen to what you have to say. After all we're not our worst parts, are we?" He leaned back. "Two most able hands? So you want to be a stevedore? You don't look like a heavy lifter. So what is this you actually can do?"

At least he is not a man that is guided by gossip, thought the ronin who thought that Moshi-sama would had spoken favorably about him to her replacement. "Like I said, I have done this work before, helping honorable Moshi Noriko-sama in her daily work, so I know that it is a very heavy work for one person alone. I am not in any way thinking little of Moshi Zenshiro-sama, on contrary." The ronin did not change his expression, he still seemed one polite, kind one, before the Centipede samurai. "I am a sage to hire. My knowledge extends to several important fields that a headmaster of a wharf could use. And as a graduate of the Imperial explorers, I hope to be of even more use if you were to require maps or bathymetric analysis."
