Zazu was somewhere behind, somewhere where the ronin hoped he could not hear.

After all he was the spouse of the Champion, and a Yasuki, not a born Tortoise. And..." The voice of the ronin came down a tone as he continued, looking from one side and another before speaking, "word is Muhaki-sama, the first Champion of the clan, spent many days in Dragon Guard, with the company of woman, it wouldn't be hard to believe that he left behind another candidate for Champion, one who bears the blood of the founder of the Clan."

Ryoshida lowered his voice, then glanced at Suihime. Speaking about bastards was not in vogue that evening.

Wata bowed before the Champion of the Mantis, at least he had proven to be much more than a simple ronin, he was one who knew things, and could bring an edge to the Mantis' situation.
