Rokuro waited, sipping light from the sake. Patience was the Sparrow way. Idly, he set the stone bottle down a little more firmly than was necessary, perhaps an offer of a refill if she wanted it. |

Rokuro settled back, and just watched her, eyes tracing that cascade of hair, her stance, her hands as she read. So... this was his future. He contemplated in silence. |

With a soft sigh, he took a sip and then added, as an aside, "I'm going to be focusing on learning every rope and knot, mast and timber of our ship. She's my responsibility now." As are you... The woman gave a soft sigh and made a small fold in her book before stowing it away. She took up position to look up to the sky casually. "I am mainly a diviner. I seek the meaning behind the signs the Fortunes and ancestors display up among the constellations. However, it is true that one can determine positioning based on the stars." She pointed her finger rather lazily in a mundane direction and then lowered it. "Once you know which direction lies north, it's easy to piece together the stars." |

"I suppose there may be times where you must navigate instead." The priestess thought on the direction of North and then turned to him. "It is often instinctual. I know which way I am facing after studying the stars at the rate I have." She bowed her head sheepishly. "Sometimes I have to double check by looking at the stars. However, I have never been wrong." She then gave a soft shrug. "It could be the fire kami blessing me with their knowledge. But to fully answer your request, I do not believe I could teach you that. I would have to tutor you on astrology for quite some time." |
