Akarei shrugged, her guard coming back up. "We will see what will happen. I suppose I do not have the same optimism you do." She flipped her book back open and stuffed her nose back into her text. |

That brought a soft sigh, and he cast his gaze back out at the floating lanterns, and then muttered under his breath, "Had to push it... bloody idiot, Rokuro..." Shaking his head, he glanced upward, taking in the stars, wondering if they had anything to say about his future. Maybe they were laughing at him. |

The Yogo once more appeared content with not speaking to her betrothed. She let the lanterns illuminate the pages as she attempted to commit the text to memory. |

With a heavy sigh, he finally took a step away, and said, softly. "I suppose I should get going, there is a lot to prepare, and I should rest." Bowing deeply, he added, "If there is anything you need, please feel free to ask... My door is always open to you." He didn't really expect much of a response, to be honest. |
