Suihime had made the arrangements the night before, invitations all sent, and now the morning had come to the Miya estate Suihime had arranged for the room with the best view of the ocean to be prepared for the arrivals. She had a banquet-breakfast prepared, with plenty of tea available to be brought in at any point. Suihime wore one of her favourite kimonos, and one of her nicest, the Imperial green with the mons of the Imperial Families, the Miya, and the Imperial Explorers on display. Everything prepared, and now she waited for the guests to arrive. |

Rokuro was more practical in his garb, in hakama, kosode, and haori, he arrived, ready for a first day of actual captaincy. It was... exciting. Terrifying. Many things. Still, a breakfast seemed an excellent place to start, so as he arrived and presented himself, he bowed deeply and smiled in greeting. "Good morning, Miya-san. A fortuitous day, ne?" |

An odd feeling comes over Tori, on her way to the meeting, remembering the last time the two of them were to meet for a meal, so long ago. Hopefully, less fire is involved. Tori arrives in a new Haori, bearing a careful array of the many, many mons she associates with. Clan and family are present, though the Doji school and House of Auroras are, sadly, a necessary omission, in favor of the prominent emblems of the Explorers and the Naval Academy, all in a balance of Crane powder blue, the naval blue shared by the Explorers and the Naval Academy, and bits of gold trim and patterning, to proclaim her Imperial service. The shoulders have been done and redone several times, until the tailor simply gave up; the tiny woman will never strike a commanding visage, and any attempt to look more imposing comes across silly; they settled on a slight bit of padding and left it at that. "Thank you for your invitation, Miya-sama," she bows. |

Suihime moved to meet the captains upon their arrivals, giving them both a smile and a deep bow. "Asahina-sama, Suzume-sama, good morning to you both. I hope you are both well, and ready to sail? Please, come in. I have made arrangements for the other captains to come also, but please feel free to start." |

The Tortoise made his way to the designated location, greeting his fellow captains as he arrived. "Colleagues," he said in his usual warm tone. "A pleasure to see you all again." |

And so Susumu came, and looked like he was ready to sail: He wore a simple green Mantis kimono with a pair of black hakama, his hair was tied with a pony tail and his forehead was hidden with a green bandana. His face looked serious and devoid of joy ''Good morning, everyone'' he said in an even voice. |

"Good morning." Rokuro greeted each arrival. He also took a seat, hoping to ease formality among them, after all, they stood on equal standing in this matter, so posturing would only hurt their cohesion... at least... that's how he felt. "I appreciate you arranging this, Miya-san. It is good to have the chance to meet our peers in a less formal setting." |
