Utsusemi turned her gaze to the one who had spoken, taking a breath as she forced her voice to calm down to it's usual pitch.

"Ooooh, the Ranger!" The gums-only old man inserted himself back into the conversation. "Sounds like the kind of guy you might need."

He took a gulp.

"Wish I knew who he is."

The stutterer raised his hand eagerly as if it was some sort of a quiz.

Part of her wished it was her who was suffering instead of Sanjuro. He would have known what to do... both he and Ryuden always seem to know what to do...

Now, the stutterer was superbly enthusiastic as he didn't have to speak to help. He hopped up and pointed to the place on the far southeastern point of the hillside the urban area ascended on, right at the verge of the jungle.

"It will take some time." he frowned. "Mirumoto-san, there is a mill on that hill. Someone there named Genta may be able to help. But, someone should check on Agasha Sanjuro-san. I can go up there, if you'd like."

His offer surprised her, and she dared not refuse.

"I owe you a debt, Miya-san. If... if the two of you seek him out, I will look after Sanjuro-san in the meantime. Maybe I know someone who can at least give him more time."

She thought of what the old men had said, that the man who was stung died in the night. It terrified her.

He shook his head. "You've already assisted me, Agasha-sama, and I would aid another explorer, regardless."

The Miya turned to the group of old men. "I'll come back to swap stories with you old timers. I want to hear all about Teodoro and his family."

Kenzo, finally being more or less caught up, also bowed to Edogawa. "Thank you, Miya-sama." He said.

He turned back to Utsusemi. "We'll find him, Utsusemi-sama. I'm sure we'll have Sanjuro-sama up and about by this time tomorrow. Perhaps even sooner." His tone was light, and his smile cheerful, but his eyes were sympathetic, understanding, acknowledging her worry even as he sought to lessen it.
