She nodded, exchanging looks with Kenzo as she managed to console herself a little by daring to have hope. "... I will return to the ship then, and do what I can for Sanjuro-san until you return." She pressed her lips together, knowing that she couldn't forsake all her other duties either. The fleet was still somewhat in disarray after the storm, especially with the injured being brought back to the ships while everyone was still being accounted for. |

"We'll make sure to send word if we learn anything." Kenzo said carefully. His lips pressed together, a mild grimace, looking at her. So many things he wanted to say... He turned to Edogawa. "Well. No time to waste, eh? Shall we?" Fatigue warred with cheer in his voice, but cheer definitely had the upper hand. |

Tired though he was, that won a confident smile from Kenzo. "Of course, Utsu-sama. Always." He couldn't help himself; a wink joined the smile, angled carefully so that Edo couldn't see. His expression was more serious as he turned to give Edo a nod. And continued to turn, heading up the hill towards the mill. /exit??? |
