Ran was sat in the tasting room, a plethora of bottles on the table before her, and platter with several cups next to them. She looked tired, but also full of good spirits. Her cheeks were red, and her glass was not empty. She twirled a piece of greying brown hair between her fingers, and worked on some notes, charcoal scratching as she wrote in short hand.

The mantis passed in the corridors, likely to make some purchases of his own when he spotted Ran through the door. He stopped and knocked, wondering what the tortoise was doing alone.

''Ohayou Rrr...Muhaki-san. You are not drinking alone I hope?''

She looks up, and gives a hazily but small smile. "Please, Gusai-sama! A friend of Wata-kun's is a friend of mine. Let's be friends, and friends don't let friends drink alone, do they? Please... I have spared no expense."

He entered the room, not intending on leaving the girl alone in any form of vulnerable state

She waved his inquiry off, motioned he come in to the tasting room, and began to pour him a glass of red wine.

"Please, join me. It's been an interesting time here on Kameyama Jima, wouldn't you say so, Gusai-sama? Oh, mind the turtle."

And there was a small baby turtle on the table, smaller than the size of Ran's palm, munching on the corner of a sheet of paper. It was an odd colouring - on closer inspection, it looked like it were made of the stars themselves.

Ringo stops by the winehouse again to pick up another bottle. He is a little surprised that there are number of explorers here today. He offers them polite bows. "Konbawa Gusai-sama, Muhaki-san. Have you had your rice today?"

He notes the reptile in the room.

The Gusai's attention was now split on too many things. He raised a hand and chuckled

''Yes Muhaki-san, it certainly is and your turtle is adorable''

He then turned to the Crab and gave him a light bow

''Good evening Hida-san''

"Hida-sama! Please, join us, be merry." She pours another glass of red wine for the Crab, assuming he will join them. She places the glasses before two empty chairs.

Ichigo the baby space turtle eyes everyone curiosly, star wheels in his little head turning, before he goes back to his paper dinner.

"Thank you, Gusai-sama; he knows he is, I think, at least a little adorable. His markings are unique, don't you think? I was there when he was born, yesterday. Born from my tears, and touched by the grace of Lady Sadahako, he came to life and swam through the air to me. Didn't you, Ichigo-san? Didn't you?" She nudged his flat head with the tip of her index finger lovingly, and the turtle's eyes slit closed happily.

''An interesting tale to be sure...'' he was not quite sure what to think ''But one I can believe since I sailed to an island turtle yesterday''

He shook his head, chuckled, sat and took a sip of wine

''Thank you for the invitation Muhaki-san''

Walking in on an awkward conversation. "So what is this about turtles? We have Ichigo-chan a turtle born of a fortune and a turtle the size of an island?"

He thinks for a moment. "I wonder if there is war coming up. I saw a crab as big as a ship flying through the air yesterday."

"Thank you." He accepts the offered wine and takes a seat.

Did you?!" She seemed thrilled at the words of Gusai-sama. "An island sized turtle? That's amazing."

A sip of her own wine.

"Did you now?! A crab!" Her eyes narrowed and she smiled widely. "That sounds fascinating. Did it move like a kite, or like a bird?"

"Are you boys teasing the light of my eyes?" came a voice from behind the trio. The Gusai walked to his fiancee and rested his hands softly over her shoulders, caressing her upper arms softly. He winked at her as she turned to him and smiled at the rest of the men on the table.

Ringo takes a sip of the wine as well. "The crab was sort of just floating... swimming? Towards us and was moving its legs and pincers menacingly at us."

He offers a polite bow and smiles warmly to the new addition. "No more than she likes. Though I am speaking the truth about the giant flying crab."

She brushed her cheek against his touch on her shoulder, and motioned for him to sit and join them. She poured a glass of red wine for Wata, more than half full, and a few drips dropped onto the table.

Ichigo lumbered towards the puddles, his attention drawn from the paper he'd been munching on to something that smelled much sweeter.

"Giant crabs in the air and island turtles and Fortunes who meet us in the sky... This is a strange place."

Ringo nods. "It certainly is. I wonder why a Fortune showed up so far away from the Empire. Which one was it by the way? I missed that part when I came in."

"I fear no comparisons, Susumu-sama, though you might be wary of it since you boast about it too much." He countered with a deep laugh that announced it all as a joke. "But this thing of a flying giant animal seems of much more interest than any other debate, especially if it was swimming in the air, how could he with his weight?"

Wataru sat next to Ran extending his left hand below the table to hold hers, while his other hand stretched out for the glass of wine and brought it to his lips for a drink.

"Is the Crab supposed to be the Fortune? or this Turtle?"

"Oh, apologies; it was Lady Sadahako, the newly named Fortune of Artists," Ran clarified. "She was beautiful..." she added softly.

Then considered. "That sounds both exquisite and terrifying, Hida-sama."
