The eyes of the Gusai went big in surprise, a Fortune had come to Ran-chan and shown herself. That was the most amazing thing he had ever heard. The samurai had been worried that the new ways of the Empire had driven them away from Tengoku, but it seemed like it was actually that they were still linked to the realm of the Divine. "That is amazing, Ran-chan. It seems you have the blessing of the Fortune on you." He raised her hand and kissed it softly with his lips, returning it back to under the table afterwards, where non could see them hold hands. "I too, would travel thousands of Li to see Ran-Chan". |

"It certainly was. We were at a severe disadvantage to fight so we chose to retreat for now. Hopefully I will be better prepared for next time but I think that it may require a cannon to do damage to something like that." Ringo surmises. "Oh, that is very interesting. So the Fortune that we are going to build a temple for already made her appearance?" He looks over at the turtle. "So is there something else rather special about Ichigo-chan?" |

The kissed from her beloved was quick but returned with a small fire behind it, and the roses in her cheeks bloomed a brighter red. "Could you summarize dimensions of the crab? How big was it? A cannon?! Like you discussed in the Sweet Nook?" Ran seemed invested, intrigued, and leaned forward in earnest. "Yes! The same Fortune, isn't that exquisite?" He asks about Ichigo and Ran lifted her cup once more. "He was born of my tears, given life by the Lady Sadahako herself. He swam through the air from her hands to mine. He has the colours of the nightsky. Isn't that special enough?" |

Susumu had kept watching the mini-turtle as they spoke. Seeing move towards the wine spillings he reached to wipe it out ''Sorry buddy, but I have something better'' As an alternative to both the paper and the wine he produced an apple and cup the little guy a slice ''So...a cannon you say? That is interesting. What is needed tp make one?'' |

"Hmmmm..." The gusai was thinking as he listened to Ringo speak of what they had encountered. "Could it be that this creature comes from the Realm of Animals, and that it is why it was so large?" The samurai understood that in the Realm of Animals, the most interesting animals lived, it was the home of the exemplary versions of the mundane animals of Ningen-Do. That could explain why a giant crab was there, or it could be that what they knew of the ocean was rather close to zero. "Do you think that this creature poses a threat to us? If we damage it, there is no turning back, and if there is one, more could come to retaliate." Then he listened to his soon to be, and was enchanted by the tale she spoke of. He felt so lucky to have her with him that sometimes it felt like each day away from her was a stake to his heart. He looked at her and could not take his eyes away even as he heard others speak to her. "Like I said, even the realms can't keep me or anyone from your embrace, Ran-chan." |

If the little turtle's sight could be daggers, Susumu would feel his wrath. As it was, he was simply glared at by the darkest black eyes for several moments, before the new offering was accepted. Small slight crunches filled the room with each turtle bite. Ran, for what it's worth, could not keep her gaze from Wata, and the blush was planted firmly. She tore herself from her daydream and set to refilling cups with the smooth red wine. |

Susumu sustained the turtle's glare. No turtle hatchling would give *him* attitude. "Proper baby turtles eat their fruits and veggies, not alcool" Then something came to Susumu's mind "Where exactly did you see this giant crab?" |

"The giant crab was about the size of one of our larger explorer ships. As to where I saw it, it was on the long beach." Ringo answers. "As for making them... well a lot of technical expertise is required plus there is also the materials. Steel of course and black powder in order to launch the cannons. The trick is to being able to fire them off at your enemies... without it blowing up in your face. It is a lot harder than it sounds." |

Ringo takes this opportunity to bring up something. "Well... if you remember when those ningyo looked like they were trying to warn us about something?" He recounts the tale that he and some other's came across just earlier today. "So in short... it seems like something ancient and powerful is sleeping near here and there are forces trying to break the seal and awaken it." |

Wataru nodded as Ringo explained what they had encountered earlier in the day, only when he finished did he add anything, "it seems it's not only something powerful, but also something dangerous that could cause great havoc." |
