Utsusemi sighed and let him go. He was armed, she was not, and he already seemed content enough to remind her of that fact by casually placing his hand on a weapon. The Mantis seemed intent on sticking to his own wounded pride and narrow perspective, without realising that his own behaviour would no doubt bring more pain for all of them. That he so casually would hint that he would become Kaiya's enemy over this made her shudder. He was worse than her own husband. The implications of his actions and words spoke volumes; he was a danger to the young Seppun lady. This won't end well... she shook her head and prepared herself to pen a letter to Yajinden, to inquire to when he would be available for the meeting he had requested in his initial letter. /scene |
