A sharp scent of herbal alcohol permeates the air there. In realities of the nearby grand sook it means that its purpose is not exclusively commercial.
Indeed, its owner, Ide Mohan, is not a man who seeks publicity or renown. A doctor by dedication, he remains committed to medical research in the quiet environs of his workshop. He actually does have a secluded hospice area extending into two inner courtyards that can only be reached through the apothecary or from above.
