That the creature still lived with it's injuries proved one thing, it would not be an easy target. Thus Kaiya sought to diminish it, piece by piece, if she had to. Stepping aside from a swipe she watched to come the woman cut skyward with her blade. Intent upon severing the creatures hand. With the support of her Companion, though the creature tore into her flesh, the pain seemed to evaporate as quickly as it arrived. Taking with it the weakness of her sword arm. Alas, the ferocity of the creature maintained the slight shake to her hand and hindered her blade from striking true. Suppressing her fear as best a woman in her situation could. Kenjutsu: 31 vs 30, Called Shot Hand, Passed. Damage: 13 [8 after Reduction] Stance: Full Attack ATN: 10 |

[Ghul is at 38/72] The hand was severed and flew away, still twitching and grasping where it fell, but it didn't stop the creature; it was alien, there was no telling where its un-vitality was coming from or when it would give up. It seemed relentless, and deadly. For right after the gaijin ways fully restored her health, the creature went for Kaiya' throat with an almost-detached head swinging on some remaining muscles. Kaiya knew what might happen had the creature been allowed past her defenses like that once more. Kicking the creature away she shored up her defenses with some prohibitive swings of her blade. Glancing quickly toward her companion in the midst of the fight. Defense Stance ATN: 23 |
