A still damp sparrow was strolling the city, letting himself air dry. The tests this morning had certainly not been what he was expecting, which left him worndering just how prepared he was. Still, he had done his best, and that was all he could do. Nonetheless, he had a pensive expression as he perused the market stalls, after all, who knew what a Sparrow might be looking for? |

With the marine trials done, the mantis captain had a lot on his plate: His interaction with Ryoshida had shook him in a good way and he was not about to pick up slack. I was browsing ware and speaking to a few different merchants to get estimates on the price of bulk purchases... |

Rokuro glanced at the Crane, and then smiled, bowing in return. "I haven't, I was working in the morning, and did not wish to make myself ill. I was thinking I might seek a good dango stall. I am still new to the city." Pausing, he added, "I'm Suzume Rokuro, clan magistrate." A second bow, and wry smile. "Might I ask inquire as to the name of this kind Crane maiden?" |

Yeah, but, like, Sparrow opium cartel law? She closed her eyes for a minute and hoped for the best from him. After all corrupt magistrates tended to dress nicer. "Ah, that is a surprise. The Sparrow must be very serious about the expedition to send such a ranking member of their clan along for this journey," she said sincerely. Oh! Wait! I get it now! Oh... that is sad... "It depends, each ship will, I don't doubt, need different things." Rokuro smiled blandly. "Whether that be entertainment, bookkeeping, arbitration, additional manpower, shore parties... there are many things I'm sure that Kakita-san and I can contribute." |
