"Take the tools of your craft, materials and preservable foodstuffs you don't expect to be available among the gaijin. Especially pickles, lots of pickles. They do have paper, but not of our quality. I'll be able to make paints and inks for you, but brushes may be a problem. And waterproof containers, cushioned well. Sea travel is rarely gentle." He paused, looking toward the bookshelf. "And whatever you used during pregnancies to push back on nausea." |

Most of it she realised she had already thought of, but some parts she had not. "Hm, good call on cushioned containers. I had not thought of that." The coastal waters of the Crane had never been so rough to require that the times she had travelled by sea. With the comment on nausea, Utsu couldn't help herself from a brief laugh. "I... don't think the nausea will be quite the same, but noted." She rose from seiza easily, ready to end the evening with a bath. "Do get some rest tonight, Sanjuro." |

"Sleep well," she said in return, bowing as she bid him good night. Stepping out of the room to head to the bath, she covered her mouth as she felt a yawn creep up on her. Even without the children to look after, it had still been a hectic day... /scene? |
