When he said that, Hinami reacted, picking up the ranger's wakizashi* and she began to ran... She didn't know where to run, but she ran, the adrenaline was driving her to save her life, to get as far away from the murderer as possible. As she ran through the jungle she imagined that he was targetting her with his bow...that a sudden death is what was awaiting her...she trembled in fear, but her body was in automatic mode, reason disappeared as she entered in full survival mode... *************** [OOC] *Assuming she had a wakizashi |

Her garments would tear and her body would be bruised. She may well have been followed by something but after she tumbled uncontrollably and half-slid on her bum half-rolled down the cliff it no longer couldn't. Battered and frenzied, she suddenly broke the line of trees and fell into the stream. The cool of it soothed wounds, and the rumble of the millwheel allowed her to regain some of her mental capacities. |

Hinami, again, splashed into the water. Her eyes were empty, and suddenly she broke into tears. She covered her face with her bruised hands to try to control her weeping, but to no avail. She stood there, crying out of fear and desperation. This was the fourth man that treated her without proper respect, disregarding both her place on the Celestial order and her dignity as a woman... But then something happened, Hinami's desesperate tears turn into anger. She was frustated and hate began to fill her. First Zabieru, then Anzai, followed by Yasuhiro and now this Hiruma... No more. She thought. She will not endure another insult and threat like this in her life, not without punishment. Hiruma Motegi. That name was now engraved in Hinami's mind. She will find him, she will torture him and she will kill him. No compassion. The Spider Queen was born anew. |

All to the sound of trundling millwheel. Beyond the Old Mill, the outer fences of La Finca barred access to crops for razorbacks. The nearest seemed to be raspberry bushes. |

She continued, walking towards wherever the path leads her. She didn't care about the pain. She was focused and had one objective now. She was still sobbing and tried to clean her face from her tears. Her kimono was a bunch of rags, her body was bruised, it was not a pretty sight... |

Juanito jumped off the horse in gallop and quickly knelt by her to protect her modesty by covering her with his cape. He said nothing as he realised she was in no condition to respond... but took her wakizashi through the edge of the cape and put it back into her hand, then helped her direct the blade back into its sheath. Then looked at the other one and frowned deeply, putting it back in her hands as well while whistling for the horse to return. Only then did he scoop her from the ground. He was not great with words in situations like this, but he knew what to do. "That thing is over, Principesa, whatever it was. You're under my care now." |

Hinami felt safe now. She was trembling and sobbing. She didn't understood what Juan said to her but she was safe. '' A man...Hiruma...he killed...her... and then tried to...near the mill...'' She stopped right there since she couldn't formulate more words, she was in shock. Anger, frustation, fear, all at once. She also was suffering from adrenaline withdrawal after the stressful situation passed. |

"After." He found a word in Rokugani that applied he actually knew. Gently, he put her sideways in the saddle and hopped to get on horseback behind her. Soon after, they were riding toward the estate, across the fields she had visited with him before. He was silent during the ride, focusing on keeping her in place despite the gallop. |

She pressed his cape around her. It was warm and cozy. She leaned towards his chest during the gallop. She was exhausted from all that happened today. Hinami closed her eyes. For now she wanted to rest... Indeed this adventure was a very, very bad idea. /Scene? |

After she lost her consciousness for a while from exhaustion, Juan carried her to one of the bedrooms while sending for the medic to the Hoof. As Hinami was resting Ide Mohan arrived and checked on some of her wounds, judging it was nothing life-threatening. He left the staff of La Finca with medicaments and curative advices. Juan was checking on her as often as duties allowed, but she seemed to be sleeping this adventure off, and it was good for her recuperation. She was taken care of by maids, and in the morning she could feel much, much better. At least physically. /Scene |
