He chortled at the Miya's words before turning to the woman. His eyes cast away any sort of warmth, growing as cold and menacing as the ocean during a storm. "You will do no such thing," his tone was a low growl. "You are currently in my baserri. This place is filled to the brim with abertzales. If I decide so I will have you killed and thrown into the ocean. Do not force my hand, I wouldn't wish to deprive this world of a mind as yours." He smirked. "Though it'd be poetic. Repay the betrayal your family did to my people and repay the kindness of YOUR inquisition," he snarled. "I had forgotten how Kharsis preached about burning children and women." He rose and grabbed a sheepskin book. "Do you know about the Culling of the Cornejo?" |
