The Naval Academy: once home to the Tortoise, now home to something far more importance and less irritating to the young mantis.

But right now there was 'wonderfulsuperexciting' paperwork to be done. He did not really enjoy it (who could) but recognised that it was vital to the proper proceeding of things. He moved to the secretary's desk and made his requests.

Once he got what he wanted he moved to a desk and began reviewing documents and filling out forms

Sigh

Nothing like getting paperwork done in the morning. Keeping his work tidy and organized he carries some scrolls to put away.

After depositing them off he notices a somewhat familiar Mantis. He offers the man a polite bow. "Ohayo Gusai-sama. Have you had your rice today?"

Susumu looked up from the scroll before him but as he recognised the Crab there was no sign of warmth or welcome.

''Yes. And you Hida-san?''

He sat straight at his desk fixing Ringo with his eyes

Ringo nods. "I had some breakfast before I came down here to get some paperwork done. I don't recall if I have mentioned it before but congratulations on your promotion Gusai-sama."

He frowned, not something expected following congratulations

''Thank you...I had hoped to congratulate you on resolving your 'special condition' but it would seem it is not to be''

Ringo is silent a moment before he nods. Looking at the papers in front of Susumu. "Do you wish for some assistance with this Gusai-sama?"

''No, thank you.''

He hung back on his chair

''I believe you already should be busy doing something more important before the next full moon, no?"

Ringo nods. "There is quite a bit of work to be done before the expedition."

Unsure if the Crab even understood him the Captain continued

''Your condition should be solved by then...getting you in restrained quarters for an extended period of time is unacceptable.''

''Have you taken steps to it?''

"Well I have tried restraining myself on numerous occasions and methods. Though it seems to be rather pointless given the rumours." Ringo lets out a sigh.

"There is a small comfort that Amarillo seems to be holding his end of the bargain and keeping things as quiet as possible. So he will probably keep his word until we return him home."

His frown deepened

''We should start by closing the gate to Gaki-Do then...You might want to talk to the jade magistrature about the intersection''

"I'm not as familiar with the details about it but I can bring it up with them. Hopefully a shugenja or someone more knowledgeable about the Spirit Realms will be around to assist with this. My knowledge of such things are extremely lacking." Ringo admits.

''You and me both'' he scratched his forehead

''I am not exactly jade yoriki material either''

Ringo scratches his head a bit. "I guess we haven't made much headway in the past year about that. Then again, the focus has been prepping the Explorers. Well I suppose having all these new people around will be good because someone will have the knowledge and ability to help end this."

''Maybe, is'nt there a new Jade Magistrate?''

He played with his pen

''A Seppun, correct?''

Ringo thinks about it for a moment. "Oh yes, now that you mention it there is... Seppun Hikari-sama I believe is her name."

He considers something. "Hmm... I wonder if she already read the case."

''If she knows more abotu the spirit realms then it would be valuable to point her in the right direction.''

He resumed some writing

''Closing that gate is of great importance''

Ringo nods. "Hopefully we can get that done with minimal or no issues. Though it's best to prepare for the worst just in case."
