Suihime knew this was going to be uncomfortable. Really, really really uncomfortable. More than one time in the time since the meeting with her mother and now she had gone to her mothers door, and stopped herself knocking. It was too late now. How do I do this? It wasn't fair. She hadn't intended to catch anyones eye, let alone a champion! She only wanted to somehow convince her mother that Susumu was a great man, which he was, and everything was turned on its head. She walked up the plank onto the ship, looking for the crew. |

The room was dark except for the few lights near the main desk. Behind it stood Susumu, his eyes were stared at some nothing in the distance until they turned to the Miya He bowed to her "Suihime-sama" |

Suihime closed the door, walking over to where Susumu stood, approaching him if he would allow it. "Susumu-kun, I..." she stopped, looking down at the ground and after a moment saying quietly "I'm sorry." |

She closed her eyes, taking a small breath before opening them and looking up at his face. "I chose you. I told mother that I wanted to marry you. I swear this to you. "I am hurt" Suihime moved to lean against the desk near Susumu "and I wish there was another way. If...it had been anyone else. I just..." she sighed "I only thought of you. If I had rejected him and chosen you, he is your champion. He could take your sails away and assign you a long away from the ocean, or worse. I didn't want to be the cause of your champion turning more against you. Now instead you still have your freedom at sea, and you can still show the world thst you are the great man that I know you are." |

This hasn't changed my position in the explorers yet, nor do I believe Gusai-dono would risk upsetting Hantei-denka. It also doesn't change the intended destination in the future, just means we have to plan more carefully. I have discovered a port for Medinaat al-Salaam as well." |
