She unpacked the calligraphy kit Susumu knew she always carried with her. With it was a small notebook, which seemed to be new. "Your calligraphy needs a lot of work Susumu-kun" she offered him her kit to use "if you are lucky, the exams will be marked by Moshi-dono. If you are unlucky, it'll be Asahina-dono or Hantei-denka himself, and they expect...perhaps not my level of calligraphy, but certainly an improvement." |

Suihime remained close, moving the books closer so Susumu could read it and begin studying. She didn't react to the closeness, beyond placing a hand on his arm. |

She resisted tutting, putting her hand on his and moving his hand down. "Like this" she said quietly, directing his hand to write in the style that had become quite famous through the explorers. Her handwriting was exquisite, even if it was directed through someone else's hand. |

She smiled, guiding his hand for a little longer before letting go. "You can see the sharpness in the writing, making it less easily confused with others. The pinpoint precision of the writing. That's exactly what I mean." |
