Darkness covered Rokugan, lighting the beach in the delicate touch of Lord Moon's light. Sakia sat some number of feet away on a small mat laid out for her. Legs curled up, knees up underneath her chin the young woman sat in silence as she watched Kaiya train. Completely alone in her own world the sight of the woman she was quickly becoming was something of a beauty to behold but like most beauty she found it scared her a little.

Knelt in the sand Kaiya looked out over the waves rolling in. Watching them for some time before lowering her head toward the ground, reaching forward into the sand and pushing against it. Letting the sand spread out around her fingers and inevitably fall back over them. Sitting like that for a time before pulling her hand back out from the sand. There was no method, only focus on the feeling and sensation right in front of her. Covering her hand and then pulling away from it.

Reaching for her sword she rose slowly to her feet. Unsheathing it, the glimmer of the moons light bouncing off the blade as she raised it toward the heavens. Only when she centered herself properly did she take the first step, leaving herself awake to everything she felt in that moment.

All was silent but the creeping of the waves.
