I'll answer, if I can remember.

Was the Cornejo thing planned since game 1?

Sort of.

It was in game 1, but it was revealed piece by piece by Kanon. I gave her my character sheet, which had Reincarnated and Foreign Heritage and said "My character has amnesia and has no idea who he is". Investigating his strange flashes of memory led to him suspecting he was Teodoro in a past life.

Edogawa's basic background was simply, Miya family, shipbuilder. That got fleshed out around halfway through the game, as his memory returned and his friend Yajinden showed up, as did his sister.

Edogawa's lineage connects him to the Hantei. Cornejo fathering a Hantei brought his soul into the kharmic cycle and he was reincarnated as someone of Hantei blood, Edogawa.

So at the end of the game, where does Edo stand on his opinion of Jama? Still as devoted as his sister, or has his opinion changed? :)

B'sknown that Jama could be dangerous. Yajinden had warned him to be careful about saying certain things, which was why the garden party slip-up bothered him so much. However, he's always felt supporting Jama was the better choice, as Hohiro seemed more dangerous to the future of the Empire. The talk with Ricardo's spirit confirmed that both brothers are dangerous. Edo hopes, however, that Jama can be guided towards a better path.

So. The slip up. Obviously I had to run with that in gossip when that happened.

I know Edogawa's interactions with Anzai were fairly self contained to the voyage over, and then fighting together on Day 12 against Hawthorne.

Selfiishly, I have to ask, what were his thoughts on the young Scorpion? Is that thought process colored by dealing with him as Edogawa, or as Cornejo?

Has the thing with Cornejo ended now? Or is that still an ongoing plot? What is Edogawa's plans for the future?

Edogawa has a healthy respect for Scorpion. He finds Anzai to be likeable and capable. Teodoro sees him much the same, but he was a bit more impressed. Whereas Edo sees Anzai as a comrade of comparable experience who is learning and surviving as he is, Teo sees someone who was thrown into the depths and rose to the occasion.

Regardless, they both feel Anzai is a valuable crewman. You can still be First Mate, if you wish.

Missed this.

It's always going to be a thing. He's reconciled with it and the two lifetimes have begun to blend together a bit. But, Teodoro is an aspect of Edogawa that only surfaces occasionally (specifically if he void enhances certain skills).

Edo's going to overthrow a foreign king and put an ally on that throne, then he's going to go meet the long lost Ki-Rin. In the meantime, he will be improving on his ship designs and preparing for whatever will become of Rokugan.

Sounds like an adventure. Looking forward to see where Edogawa goes with this. Looks like we lost our connection with Rey leaving.

True. But, Edo feels responsible for allowing Rey to possess Ringo. So, he'll continue to have an interest in the Crab and his work.
