She smiled, formulating ideas as to where to look for associates, the last of the Hawthorne crew, and perhaps approaching Dunfey's family if he had any. She wasn't very deceptive, but she could be coy and careful with her words. Hopefully this would serve her to gain the trust of those that might possess useful information or contacts. |

Khenbish rest his hand on the bound hilt of the parangu, “I’ll accompany you.” For much of his recent years he had escorted caravans and their cargo; always items, never people, and that had been no accident or coincidence. But the Ide girl was gutsy, in a strange city, and she’d just volunteered to hunt down trouble. A show of arms should be enough. If I accompany her, that should be discouragement enough without needing to step between her and danger. |

Akaichou smiled at the Khenbish. "I would be most grateful." She inclined her head in thanks and recognition. A Moto skill set would be most useful in tracking down those they needed to find. It also allayed her fears of meeting people who did not wish to be found. Awareness and intelligence added to muscle and swordsmanship was never something to turn away. She looked back to Mahasin. "You mentioned the location of Dunfrey's remains? Do you know if he left behind a family?" |

Mahasin smiled at the blooming cooperation. "To my best knowledge, he wasn't married, but you may ask at the church at the Merenaese iglesia, they should be keeping records. Padre Alvaro is a holy man, he has my respect, we hold theological disputes often. But even if he truly wasn't married, it doesn't mean he didn't leave descendants." |

She nodded as though taking notes in her mind, which was close to what she was in fact doing. 'The priest may know of any family. The grave digger may recall the attendees at the funeral, and others may know those that crewed the ship. It's a place to start at the very least.' |
