I would keep EE unoccupied there. LE should be safe.

There are various collections of books around here, but mostly in private or institutionally restricted hands. So no lib. You need to poke around and do some RP to get the goodies.

There may be books for purchase in Lil Aqahba or someone who knows Senpet. Not a failproof method, but wandering the Hoof/Sahat Rasamat might yield something, though less so after dark.

On day 7 can I just start an exploration thread in the Archipelago of Dreams location Kunshu Maru found on day 6, or do I need to run the gauntlet through Coastal Waters, the Mists, Gaki-do, etc., each time?

Let's say this time it's straight to the island, just after past-the-rocks roll. But I've just hidden the Cursed by Gaki-do with my hand on the screen, so don't get used to fast lanes.

My roll has 1k1 too much since I forgot it was Intelligence when doing the code for Escalate. The roll will be correct if I just apply a Void to it (I have 1 to spare at the moment), or I can re-roll?

Is it OK for Keiji to make copies of his charts (per Imperial Explorer technique) to give other ship captains the "Way of the Land" bonus for navigating through the rocks in the Northern Waters? The way the technique is written, it sounds like this should be possible, but giving out bonuses to other players could have game balance issues so I thought I'd better check.

Not possible. IE tech is so widely available that there should be trade-offs if you grab other techs for Rank 2. 'Map' in reality is notes, charts, measurement methods, spacial awareness etc. It's your stuff, only you know how to apply it.

The way they do it as I understand it is to do the printing on the paper sheets rather than decoding. I'd say it's autosuccess.
