That was my count, and since your first mate is status 3+ I put you at 8.

Susumu can indeed command more. 10 + 2 for Wataru would make 12.

i'm at 9, 10 if I get +1 from Yajinden.

The bigger question for me at the moment is.

Which ships in the land unit?

Which ships at sea?

I may tweak capacity rules still. But we are looking at a point per Base capacity, so c. 20+ points of troops to command overall.

And that is indeed the biggest question.

We can assume it had been planned and communicated/discussed with captains. For the fun of it I let you do the more precise battle planning.

it's probably best if we split up ships

One small ship,two large ships.

If we want a even distribution of people.

If it was discussed I would have gotten a unit of signalers. I think Wataru wanted to buy something as well but it might me too late for both

I will say the Ashitae is more built for sea combat, with the weapons I have at least. So I should probably stay there. I'll go on land if that is preferred though.

I'm not sure where the Yamato should be deployed. Feel free to assign her wherever you guys feel would be best.

If I were making a call, I'd send Yamato/Stingray/Walrus to land and use Roxas' men and Mamluks for land combat while the Teppodoka and high capacity vessels to face off gun-loaded Thranish vessels. While Susu is probably the most competent commander here, Walrus leading the charge vs. Revenant may be a bit tricky.

It really can be the other way, or some mash-up. Don't make the final decision before seeing the maths of it.

I vote that we all pray to my Goddess, glass them with our cannons and then feast on their corpses.

Barring that I am for whatever we plan and once we have a more solid plan I'll give a better guess.

Still... praise She Leng.

I think we have it. Go do the crunching how you want to break it down. Personalities on other ships add to the Command Capacity of the battle commander of the whole squadron. And yes, Jama gives triple bonus.

I thought we could only buy one per ship?

Author:  Matsu Yasuhiro [ Wed Dec 13, 2017 2:58 am ]
Post subject:  Re: Retribution & Royal Bounty

Well with the bonuses from high status personal, I don't see a reason to have more then two commanders.

Unless there is something I'm missing?

Keiji and Susumu seem to be the best at it. Should we divide up ships?
