The whole area is a collection of steep cliffs, creepy grottos, treacherous waters, wind-lashed plateaus and unpleasant moors. The soil is thin, the vegetation is weak, mostly grasses, moss and heathers. All doused in thick mists for most of the day except afternoons. Unforgiving and foreboding, this is the least habitable part of the island. Rumour has it that people who stay too long in the mists become... strange. Those wishing to explore the location out of defined locations and paths must roll Hunting(Trailblazing)/Perception roll vs TN 15 or Investigation/Perception vs TN 20. Raises may be called for effect. If you fail and do not possess a relevant Way of the Land advantage, suffer 2k2 damage as you slip and fall down a cliffside obscured by the mists. |
