Motegi shrugged, walked in and sat in them middle of the ward.

"Satisfied?"

"I am," she said, turning to the others.

"As far as the kami are concerned, he is free of any spiritually corrupting influences. If anyone else feels doubtful about their own purity they might approach the warding symbol, but I think that rather unnecessary given those gathered."

"Since we have this determined, let's move on. What was so interesting about that place of burial?"

Suihime actually stepped forward, into the ward, thankful nothing happened.

"The location was more of interest; we have got etchings so we can find out who it was, but the writing was Thranish. That means the turtle island is able to travel quite long distances; who knows where the Island has appeared? What it could have seen? It seemed curious about the vessel that Matsu-san had controlled to keep near it, but thankfully it hadn't attempted to attack us, so it seems gentle in nature. Still, it does raise a curiosity; is it the only one? Has it been in the direction of Rokugan before? And also..."

She looked to Motegi.

"How did the Kitsune Mori end up linked to it?"

Motegi kept sitting on the floor, chilling.

"Don't look at me, Miya-sama, I am the stupid one here."

She nodded silent approval of Suihime's gesture before conversation resumed.

"The forest of the fox is well known for the many pathways to the spirit realms it is said to contain. It is all but impossible to separate fact from fiction, so I'm afraid it's rather unlikely one would find a satisfying answer to your question."

She turned to the Hiruma again.

"I am more curious as to what Hiruma-san was doing there, two years ago you said?"
