Your character possesses a letter of purchasing authority from a lord or benefactor. This allows you to acquire the use of things that don't belong to your character such as weaponry or armour, transportation, or even appropriating a ship. Your lord will then reimburse the owner or seller and conveniently keeps a samurai out of the specifics of commerce. This is not a blank check however. Frequent, extravagant, or improper use of this letter will result in temporary or permanent loss of this advantage and other possible consequences. This advantage is also intended for shorter term deployment such as retaining the use of a horse or a kobune, or for paying a doctor or replenishing your stock of arrows. If you wish to make a permanent transaction using this advantage for a non-trivial item, please consult with a GM. Ronin require a justification to purchase this Advantage. |
