Ran stood on the rear deck of the ship, looking out at the wake of the Stingray as it swept across the sea, travelling to a world unknown. Wind whipped threw her greying brown hair, which she had pinned back. She watched the world she know disappear behind them, she left behind who she was and had stepped onboard this ship as someone new. "Someisa Ran," she whispered the name to herself, letting the wind catch the words and carry them away. She wore a new kimono, the fabric extravagant and lush, fine silks that the salt air would surely spoil. Shades of light green, gold, and white belonged to her now.
