Out by the bow of the ship, Kaiya stood with just her essentials, the cotton Kimono she wore aboard the ship as not to lose it as well as they daisho she wore at her hip. Sakia remained sleeping, as far as Kaiya was aware and through some effort to keep her that way. After the nightmare she needed something more than the four walls surrounding her, she needed to smell the open air. Luckily it was something she was getting rather used to by now. Losing the sense that she was trapped on this boat with nothing but rocky waves to each corner. No, there was a touch of outside, of freedom from worry that filled her lungs now. Leaning forward she peered over the edge to the dark waters below, lifting the sleeve of her kimono so that some of the water might spray as their ship moved through the water. |

"Can't sleep?" Kuuru asked, behind her, he had arrived after her. His eyes were a fading shade of red, he was carrying a parchment and some charcoal, most likely intending to draw something. |

Hairs raised on the back of her neck as a voice suddenly came from behind her, not one she was readily able to put a face to but she crossed her arms in front of her and turned to the man. Bowing respectfully first before answering with only a shake of her head. |

Kuuru nodded grimly. "Something strange in the air... Couldn't sleep soundly myself either..." He looked off into the night. |

Kaiya nodded softly, turning back to the waves as Kuuru looked off. Turning in such a manner that it was slow, thoughtful. |
