Emphases: Assessment, Focus, Shot

This skill represents duelling with pistols, unheard of in Rokugan but popular among the Thranish and to a lesser extent among the Merenaese, where La Verdadera Destreza (Fencing) is still dominant as a duelling mode. To learn it one would probably need to immerse in the Thranish traditions of trial by combat with a good gunslinger as an instructor.

Mechanically, in almost every aspect it mirrors Iaijutsu, just with pistols. Mastery Abilities are corresponding. There is only one significant difference: you can throw a duel not after Assessment but after Focus, by a practice called deloping i.e. firing a missing shot in the air.
