Bellena finished the last bit of paperwork to make sure everything was in order for the party that would commence in a few hours. Servants ran about the manor getting things in order. Bellena had invited a collection of friends over to prepare in the Hacienda so they didn't have to spoil their make-up or dresses in transit. She returned to her room and prepared mirrors, chairs, food, drinks, and other feminine necessities as the appointed hour arrived. The butler up front was provided with instructions to escort her guests to her room as soon as they arrived.

Ruqqayah was already in the hacienda and knocked at the door. She already had her dress on, intending to let others use her room to dress if they needed to while the others did less naked stuff at Bell's room. "Lella Bell'eza?"

She looked a little embarrassed. "Thank you. I still need to put on all the makeup and jewelry and whatnot," she says, feeling a bit modest as she enters with the items in her arms, as well as a longer, semi-sheer veil to go over the one she was already wearing.

Bellena smiled, "That's unfair, for you to be so pretty without make-up."

She guided Ruqqayah into a seat and moved over to get her something to drink. With her back turned she asked, "Did you get any sleep last night?"

She just chuckled and shook her head in response. "I think you're the more unfair one. I don't even come close to as beautiful as you are."

"There was a lot of stuff to go over after we part, so... not really," she said, rather glad Bellena wasn't looking at her. "I got some this morning, though."

She nodded as she poured a bit of coffee for Ruqqayah, "It certainly was an interesting set of revelations."

Turning she smiled with a cup of coffee on a plate with some cream and sugar on the side and a stirring straw. "How long have you known your friend?"

She asked as she sat down at the table with Ruqqayah.

She pressed her lips together a little bit. "A little while. Ah... I'm really not in a position to be able to talk about it too much..." Ruqqayah says, her expression was a picture of partially-hidden anxiety at the idea of having to violate either person's trust.

The next to arrive was Utsusemi, carrying the box for her clothes, as well as another box for makeup and accessories. As well as some tea. The start of the day had been rather hectic for all involved, so she did plan to offer a relaxing tea ceremony for the other girls as they got ready for the party.

At least she did not let the awful spider-incident darken her mood as she was let in. "Konnichiwa and buenas tardes," she greeted with a smile, unaware of the conversation she had just arrived to.

She smiled and nodded, "I don't want to put you into some uncomfortable situation my dear. As long as he treats you well, and you know that I am here for you at any point... that's all I'm concerned with."

She reached out and squeezed Ruqqayah's hand gently, "Woman to woman I can't say I fully trust him... but I've been wrong about people before. Be sure to keep your eyes open. But if you are happy, then I'm happy. I'm in no position to not tell someone to follow their heart."

She smiled brightly and stood up. She walked behind Ruqqayah and turned her chair slightly to face the mirror. Looking at Ruqqayah's reflection in the mirror she said cheerfully, "Let's make sure he gets to see how beautiful you look tonight."

Bellena turned to see Utsu arrive and smiled warmly, "Buenas tardes mi amiga!"

She walked over to the door and embraced Utsu, giving a kiss to each cheek.

Ru turned red when Berena turned her toward the mirror and said that, then bobbed her head with a shy smile. "Okay."

She rose when Utsusemi arrived and smiled warmly, turning toward the door. "Good afternoon, Agasha-san!"

As before, Bellena's kisses made Utsusemi tense, as it was something she was still not quite accustomed to... and probably never fully would be unless she was to live in Merenae for a few years. And even then she'd probably not be appriciative of men doing it to her.

But Bellena was forgiven.

"Minna-san, it's good to see you both again," she smiled to Bellena and Rukaya. "Did I miss anything of interest?"

"Something light would be fine," she nodded, "but I also brought some of my favourite tea with me, in case you ladies were interested in a tea ceremony to calm our minds before a party, which will no doubt be a little hectic, I imagine."

Having seen how Merenaese lived their everyday lives, she imagined their festivities were even more loud and wild.

"Nothing too important," she assured. The blush still hadn't completely faded. Maybe the tea ceremony would help.

Utsusemi looked to Bellena. "Will Ran-san come too?"

"Then I hope she will make it," Utsusemi nodded, placing down the boxes she had carried with her.

"It's alright," she offered Rukaya a smile, "I think we're all a little off our stride today after this morning. But I'm very honoured that you gave your assistance... thank you."
