La Finca de Jacintos (The Hyacinth Estates) is the private estate of Juan Pablo 'Juanito' de Almeria y Pavo, current governor of the East Port. The estate is large, the largest single-owned swath of agricultural land on Kameyama Jima. The estate proper sits on a hill overlooking the Port, but it then extends all across the valley of the Puahu River on both its sides. The plantations include acres of vineyards, grazing land, orchards, and crops. Juanito is not an ostentatious man, so despite the affluence the estate provides, particularly so having a near-monopoly on providing fresh food other than fish to the population of the island, there is very little in the way of splendour or architectural boisterousness around the grounds or buildings. The mood of La Finca is rustic, more one of comfort and order. La Finca probably gives employment to a fifth of the population of the eastern areas of Isla de la Tortuga, but farmers, gardeners, handymen, seasonal workers, security and maids work in peace, leading much slower lives than in the East Port.

While Juanito maintains offices at the Plaza de Contratacion, the estate still sees a good bit of visitors who want to bond with him on a more informal footing. He is a gracious host, but one difficult to sway to show favouritism. The conditions in which he receives guests are not spartan, but also don't drip gold and silks. It is through prudence he's earned his current position.

Jose de Almeria and Katarina de Almeria moved out of the estate and boarded a ship to Merenae on Dog the 20th. They took their son Sancho with them. It is whispered that the nau Indigo they sailed away on was carrying a small treasure from de Almeria 'war chest'.
