Name: Asahina Tori Gender: Female Clan: Crane Occupation: Sensei at the Imperial Naval Academy, Explorer, Captain of the Stingray Marital status: Single Age: 17 Height: 4'11" Weight: 87 lbs Build: Wispy Tori is a frail wisp of a young woman, with long, white, free-flowing hair in the Crane tradition and paler skin than one might expect for someone who's spent so much time at sea. Her favored kimono features prominent Crane blues, but also fades through deeper shades and sea greens, and even some red in between. She is filled with a wonder for the natural world, and a boundless love for the sea and especially the sky. She can often be found taking sketches of nature, especially birds, trying to capture the motions of flight. She is more hands-on than many samurai, inclined to get personally involved in various construction projects, from her own tinkerings, not even hesitating to get her tiny little hands dirty with construction and shipbuilding. Recent events have put her in positions of authority, to share her considerable knowledge and expand it further, in service of Rokugan, and she isn't afraid to tend to more practical considerations, like the use of economics as the vessel for forging new connections with the gaijin cultures they're likely to meet in the future. |
