Never complex. It sees several grey strands that have crept in. The former-ronin called Ran seems to revel in wearing extravagant clothing. Her obi tied tight and secure. Her fingers are nimble, used to doing fine work, but this one is a craftsman more than an artist. Her skin is abundantly freckled, marring her as one touched with bad fortune. She smells like cherry blossoms and salt. Background As the ships set sail from Dragon's Guard City, Ran discarded her rust-coloured kimono to adorn herself in new colours: dark blue, golds, lightest green, and white - those of the Tortoise clan. It would come to pass that she had accepted Muhaki Zazu's announcement that he was accepting artists to join the Someisa family. Hooks! + Bonsai! Drainage is key! Plants need sun! + Nature! Specifically the elements of air and fire, Ran is near-obsessed with tracking weather patterns, and the science of physics. + Phoenix! She has some experience on ships, both assisting in building them, and navigating for the crew. She even secured herself a position aboard the Stingray as the captain's boatswain. + Theology! Ran is happy to discuss religion and theology, as well as various lores. She seems well versed in many aspects, maybe moreso than she lets on. |
