The perpendicular rock indeed emanated a faint aura of kami presence. Some long dormant stone god was slumbering within the rock, perhaps since the times the basalt pillar had been tossed out from Mount Kappa from the heart of the earth in eons long past.

Akarei let out a soft sigh. There is bound to be more of use to me at the top. She performed a quick stretch and then went to the lift to ascend to the top.

The man operating the lift did not deny her the travel - probably out of fear - but was skittish all the way up. As she was carried up, she could see the area of submerged rocks being passed by Kunshu Maru and the Walrus, heading toward the mist further north.
