Azuki came out of the mist on one of the side of the road where moors extended until some gorges broke path between the place she was and the contours of Mount Kappa. The fog still lingered there, cottoning heathers, even as the cliffs got cleared of it by some local meteorological phenomenon, baring their natural teeth.  Azuki purred and brushed along her legs. |

There was no point in assuming anything other than that she was communicating with Azuki. It seemed to fit all the evidence; however circumstantial; after all. "...And what are *you* then? You're obviously not a normal cat." She studied him, wondering if she could even tell if a cat was lying. |
