Susumu opened the door to his cabin to let Suihimi enter. He pulled a chair for her and took on for himself, keeping silent to let her explain what was on her mind.

Suihime raised a brow at the chair pulling, amused a little, but sat down on it.

"Gusai-dono wishes to test my...skills, I guess would be the better word for it. He wants to ensure I will be able to forward the clans agendas."

Susumu could not help but look displeased, angry even.

"He forced the betrothal of Rokugan's most competent languist and expert in gaijin lore and culture to have her handle commercial affairs?"

He then looked confused

"He was'nt even interested when I spoke to him about these opportunies..."

He did let out a sigh afterwards

''But I do not know how things work here yet...like I said, I'll need to make my own arrangements.''

''Depending on how it goes I'll try to find and avenue for you...but I honestly don't know what. I brought cargo here so I have that to kickstart a trade''

Suihime went quiet for a moment, considering that, before nodding. Not happy with the answer, but accepting it in her normal way.

"I understand. I hope you will be successful in your affairs. What is it you hope to trade out here?"

"He probably expect you to bring him cargo...but that might be the most profitable thing to do here. Many things might be available but since they are foreign in nature their value cannot be properly estimated ans it thus leaves us in a vulnerable position"
