"I was quite surprised he didn't earn himself another duel of two today." Yasuhiro admitted after a moment. "His disrespect for most of the Samurai here is rather blatant, and it's obvious he has no wish to correct his actions."

He pursed his lips. "Hopefully I can show people the truth about him on the morrow." If not his shame would be quite profound.

"Either way... he'll get his comeuppance one day." She said with a smile.

"Is there anything else I can do for you today Matsu-san?"

"That he will." The Lion confirmed with a nod. "No, you've been more then helpful enough, Muhaki-san."

"Thank you for your time."

"It's my pleasure Matsu-san. Please let me know any time you need help. I'm fairly well connected, if you need something don't hesitate to ask." She said with a bow.

"I'll remember that Muhaki-san, and if there is a way I can help you, please do feel free to ask." He returned her bow with one of his own. "Though I confess my skills are those of a bushi, and aren't useful in many dituations."

She smiled, "I doubt that to be true... just today I was attacked by a giant snake while searching for a suitable place for Sadahako's Temple up by the mountain."

"I hope you are alright Muhaki-san?" He asked, snake attacks in his experience were a fairly rare occourence. "I hope it wasn't poisonous."

She smiled, "I was alright because a bushi was there to help protect me. The snake was not a poisonous type, it constricts tightly around something and suffocates it to death. My friend was able to act quickly enough to save my life. I'm sure there are many opportunities for a bushi to make themselves quite helpful."

"It's wise you brought a bushi along with you then, as from what I've heard there are numerous dangers on this Island." There wasashort pause as he tried to recall all he heard of. "Large spiders, snakes, a creature called a Jaguar, and a myriad of others."

"I suppose you are right though, we bushi do have our uses. Though as far as I can recall there aren't a huge number of us on this voyage."

She nodded, "Which makes your services at a premium. I hope you would not be offended if I were to ask for your help at some point in the next few days... It'd be a chance for you to explore a bit of the island as well."

"Not at all, I already offered you what aid I could Muhaki-san." Just don't let the old woman try and seduce you boy. She doesn't look like much of a man eater from this angle, but you never know after all.

"Though most of my skills are with a bow, and I must say they might not be a useful if we face more of those large snakes."

"I think with a bit more care I wouldn't have the same problem again... But arrows hurt animals as much as a blade. If you aren't comfortable, that is more than acceptable Matsu-san." She said with a bow.

"I'm perfectly comfortable Muhaki-san." He confirmed for the third time. Perhaps the woman didn't wish him along after all? "Just send word when you would like to explore, and if I'm available I'll be certain to come."

She nodded thankfully, "I will. Thank you again."

"It's nothing." He offered her a bow, "I should leave you to your afternoon though."

"May the fortunes be with you Muhaki-san."

"And with you Matsu-san." She bowed and bid him farewell.

With that he turned and left.
