[Yasu x Utsu]

By arrow-blazing their path onward they discover a small side-chamber from which spiderlings scatter to get away from the fire radius. Inside, there's a large, human-shaped yellow-brown cocoon with a faint green glow coming from within...

Finally they had found someone, Taking a brief look around the area to check for spiders the Lion glanced towards the Dragon. The strange green glow was a little disconcerting, but hopefully it was jade or something like that.

"If You want to keep a look out I can cut them free." He offered after a moment. "Of I could use a rope cutter to drop them the ceiling, but that will probably be uncomfortable fr whoever is inside."

"I can keep watch," she nodded, looking at the coocooned figure, trying to assert how high up it was. Maybe she could use the naginata to cut it down, and allow for Yasuhiro to catch them.

That indeed looked very much like jade, right before dissipating completely, it's luminescence mostly a reflection of one of Yasuhiro's fire arrows. It was visible better because the spider silk had melted around it.

There seemed to be a man inside, a large man, in armour.

"I don't know if letting him down gently is a option." He offered after a few moments, looking towards Utsusemi. "It may be best you cut them down with your naginata, and I keep watch."

"They'll have to drop a bit, but you are also the better healer."

"It does have a better reach than a sword," she agreed, though a little surprised he trusted her to do the cutting, rather than just asking her for the weapon.

Utsusemi took up position, readying the naginata as she took aim carefully a few times, making sure that she would not accidentally cut the man's feet off.

OOC: Any attack roll required, or free to proceed?

Yasuhiro nodded towards here as he took up position to watch again. This would probably be noisy one way or another. "Be careful after you cut it, it's hard to say how they'll fall." He wouldn't want her to get brained on accident.

Utsusemi took aim once more, then with one swift chopping motion cut through the silken suspension that held the Crab warrior up. Good thing they make those Crabs sturdy, she thought, though thankfully it was a short fall to the stone floor.

With the cocoon down, Utsusemi placed the naginata beside her and pulled her knife to begin the work of cutting him free, starting with the area around his face to give him air. She grimaced at the sticky webbing.

"Do you recognize them?" The lion asked sending a brief glance in Utsusemi's direction, though most of his attention was towards the entrance to the area.

With the webbing removed from the Crab's face, identification was possible.

"Hida Ringo-san. He's alive."

She grunted as she continued the hard work of the removing all the webbing that had trapped the large Crab, as she would need to get him free to apply first aid to him.

"Need any help over there?" Yasuhiro asked, though he expected the older woman to refuse. one of them had to keep watch after all. Though he did feel a little bad watching her struggle, still she was a samurai she should be used to things like this.

Another tug of the knife. "No. Not right now."

At least enough of the Hida was freed now and she began to apply the first aid that she could in the field.

Yasu waited quietly for the Dragon woman to finish her work, they would need to leave after this, and the large man would need assistance. That would make things fufficult.

"It will be time before he's able to walk on his own. If we wait a little, he might regain consciousness..." she commented, finishing up what she could do given the circumstances. "... He's too big and heavy for me to support."

"I'll be able to, I'm fairly strong... If he doesn't wake though." He might have to try and find a way to drag him. Which would be difficult at best.

Ringo eventually comes to with a matching groan to follow. He opens his eyes and slowly looks around. "Agasha-sama? Matsu-sama? Where am I?"

It seems like he is laying down. He tries to pick himself up but finds he does not have the strength to do so. "I hope you will forgive me that I cannot greet you properly." He says weakly.

"There is no need to apologize Hida-san, it's understandable given the circumstances. " The Lion offered softly. "To answer your question though. You are in some sort of giant Spiders nest. It seems one captured you last night."

"Did we win?" Ringo asks. If the entire force got wiped out then that would spell disaster for the future of the Explorer's fleet and mission.
