Only 8 points, Orokos punished me so harshly and I doubt I will make it to the shortlist of captains.
Don't really know why I spent anything in status and social advantages.

Status is not always good for much. Being able to ignore challenges from Status 1 is the main reason I take it.

I think it will also come into play in the captain event. Some of us are competing for spots as captains, while others of us are after lesser positions on the ship.
First mate and etc. It's just not shown how status and etc fits into all of it.

I can't say I've ever felt I wasted points on buying Social Position.
Now I have once or twice regretted buying certain Advantages, mostly because they usually see little use or screentime (Leadership for Yasuyo, though that was sadly needed for Kobune Captain, is one), but Social Position has never been one of them.
Maybe I just like the pure fluff-bonus it gives me of having power over people and being called -sama. xD

I usually don't take it. Edogawa was an exception because the sudden change from the amnesiac ronin to the Status 3 Imperial was fun.

Trying to find accurate-ish sengoku-edo period patterns for men's Haori/Hakama/Kosode is proving astonishingly difficult.
I didn't realize cosplay was going to be this hard.
