"Not really. There are not many you can ask around here about such things. I had hoped you would know something. It would be good if you did."

He closed his eyes. They were clearly tired, or he had some migraine.

"I did not expect to receive it. My father is not being let out of the capital until the census is over. It came from Tristano de Ajuna, one of my father's vassals. Ajunas once served Cornejos, but we offered them shelter when the reckoning came." He shrugged. "I can only surmise that he had some trouble sending it. Maybe he was asked about those Shanty Ones by the King's men."

"I have to find a place for the Merenaese workers to stay... Find a potential spot for this Shrine I'm supposed to build.
Find ways to allocate the resources to getting it set up... Work my way back into the routine of things here..." She said with a sigh at the end.

"I will strive to keep up with all of my duties... I've never let you down before." She said warmly.

"Yes, I would not like us to go separate ways, Bellena. Some normalcy here may preserve some sense in us when the folly breaks out there." He smiled back.

"For now... I suppose I shall be on my way. Seeing to all the loco stuff that is happening."

She then turned and left the room.
