"Probably, Senor." She mused. "Is it what you seek assistance with?"

''I have been trying to learn the basics...I certainly won't refuse any help in this''

Mahasin nodded.

"I can award you a study in the mosque for the afternoons. A tutor and readings would be available. It would also introduce you more into the precepts of our Faith."

''That seems like an efficient way to do things'' he replied with a nod ''You are most generous, thank you''

"The Goddess teaches us to be generous. And you've come here with your own generosity to offer." She gestured toward one of the arched passages. "Let me show you."

''Very well'' the Mantis followed suit

She led him to a study past the library. A single pulpit at the middle of a spacious columned room aweing just by the feerie of light passing through prismatic glasswork.

"The readings would need to be brought to you here. You're not free to venture among our holy texts."

He nodded, curious

"Very well, I shall respect this disposition. But may I ask why? If you wish for me to convert to your faith, should I not read thoses texts?"

''Interesting'' he simply said

''I will do so, then''

"Very well then. Keep coming again."

She directed him toward the exit.

When the exit was reached the Mantis surrendered his gift into the Imam's care and bowed one last time

"I wish you a good day Honored Imam. "

"May you find your path to the Faith, Si al-Ghouzawi."

She gratefully accepted his contribution and headed out to store it before proceeding to call the laymen for midday prayer.
