Which is fine.  If the concept is not working out for whatever reason, we're happy to sit down with the player and discuss what, if anything, could work instead. Play what you like/feel is fun for you is the general principle. Mid-game rerolls, while a bit limited in scope because of the limited space the core of the game will be happening in, are not unfeasible either.
