Please can any ruling that is made on GM questions that has an effect on the game or an event PLEASE be placed either in GM questions, or updated on the event and an update mentioned in here, regardless of where the question is asked?

Sure, but ruling and clarification are two distinct things. Over discord I am mostly asked the latter. If the former, I update the event. If you refer to the question above, made in clear in the event just now.

And when we at it, I allowed Kaiya to use Perform: Flute in 'We shall overcome'. She's playing a mute person with no printed Disadvantage for the handicap, thought letting her use a para-voice she had an established record of using from prior game seemed only fair.

I don't agree that they are different; clarifications and rulings should be available to everyons regardless of discord use/timezone

So, earlier I was rolling for the event through what I later found out was them taking down the internet outright for a few hours, and a couple of my rolls double-sent. One of them is moot, because they were both failures.

The other one, though, was my fifth roll. A Sincerity roll to get an SOS point on my stuff, and would have changed my allocation, but not my rolls. Getting at least one SOS point on possessions was a higher priority than getting at least one SOS point on self, and then cycling back up to get more points in people was last priority. May I correct my rolls as currently posted, to the failed Sincerity roll, but shift the allocation in accordance with the priority I displayed in my rolling, per my original logic? (Which, in practice, means one less SOS point in possessions and people.)

Sooo, no one on Kunshu Maru used the 1-time only FR for having Seasoned Sailors. (My fault, I should've made sure that I or someone used this up.) Would you mind somehow taking them into consideration during resolution of the Mother of All Storms event?

Hmm, are the SOS rolls in Mother Of All Storms indeed Cooperative skill rolls? It occurs to me that Keiji has the Sailing 5 Mastery ability too...

Those that involve crew commanding, we can say yes for fluff purposes. I'd not like you to reroll, but if it would make a difference between success or failure, you can apply it.

So, as a NPC has been allowed to roll for the event, I assume that clears the ok for ghosted inactive pcs to do so? If not, how come?

Disregard my previous question. I just saw the ruling on how Sage interacts with Lore: Values for the event (which I don't think was there initially). Because of that, I did not fail that Sincerity roll, thanks to that additional +1, so the only thing that would have changed my decision making in the weirdness never actually happened and original point allocation stands.

And this is exactly why I kicked up a fuss about rulings and clarifcations being posted in discord and not on forums. The sage line was only added when I did so.

I won't be ghosting PCs for the event. Sanjuro was a special case when composing crews; we could get ahead with it only because I threw him as a seamanship supplement to a team that unlike other teams lacked that capacity. His contribution is purposefully not devoted to saving PCs (Saving People without targeting raises does not affect PCs) or their possessions. That was the very purpose of the event, to let people choose what/who they save in condition of uncertainty about the consequences. To make it a moral choice, not a meta-micromanagement one.

Honestly though, if Sanjuro's contribution is meant to evolve into a major contention and an argument about why I should or shouldn't do it on some principle, or what else I should or shouldn't do because of it, I'd prefer to delete the contribution altogether and leave Yamato Maru where it is without it.

You can answer rules issues, but take into consideration the people not on discord or not on at that point and also put them on the forums. Is it really difficult to consider the non-discord people?

To repost things in two places is a challenge for me when I try to deal with issues in an expeditious manner when commuting or in brief breaks between work. I have limited capacity in this regard. Frankly, players have usually been helpful in dissemination of information, but I see why something like this coming directly from me is important. I agree that the forum is the more universal medium, hence if my limitations allow me to post quickly in just one place, I'll be doing it here.

If a player requested that and provided the sheet, then I guess it's okay.
